Grand Theft Auto V has suffered a slight – and disappointing – delay, with Rockstar’s open-world spectacular now set for release in September.

The game had been penned in for launch in the spring, but will now arrive for PS3 and Xbox 360 on September 17 as the developer seeks additional time for development.

“We are very excited for people to learn more about the game in the coming months,” teased Rockstar co-founder Dan Houser.
