Codemasters has today announced a May 31 release date for racer sequel GRID 2.

The publisher has also detailed the GRID 2: Brands Hatch Edition, available at GAME and consisting of two additional content packs.

A McLaren Racing Pack will include the McLaren MP4-12C GT3 Special Edition car for use in single-player, multiplayer and a special online event, as well as two new routes for the Brands Hatch GP circuit. Meanwhile, the Head Start Pack will offer the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren 722 GT and Car Upgrades Store discounts in online game modes.
