The house not only weathered a blizzard, but the combination of lake-effect snow, waves, wind and sub-freezing temperatures led to an attractive and terrifying sight.

While people in MI are keenly aware of the impact high winds can have on their homes, one house in western NY is becoming an internet sensation because of them.

The house is in Webster, N.Y., just outside of Rochester.

Photographer John Kucko captured the scene and said the area has had some particularly nasty weather lately.

New Fungus Outbreak In US Alerts CDC
More than 30 patients have been diagnosed with Candida auris , a fungal infection typically found in hospitals or similar places. The fungus has since been reported in the United Kingdom, Venezuela, South Korea, Pakistan, Kuwait, Kenya, Colombia, and Israel.

"We had violent winds here the last five days", Kucko told CNN. "Some are still without power".

A violent windstorm last Wednesday produced wind gusts of 70 miles per hour to 80 miles per hour along Lake Ontario's southern shore, knocking out power to more than 100,000 utility customers in the Rochester area, including the now-ice-encased lakeside homes in Webster.

Also, the house behind it looks completely unscathed.
