Good Friday: Christians across the globe observe Jesus Christ's death

The followers are revisiting the events of the day in the life of Jesus on this day through public reading of specific Psalms and the Gospels, and singing hymns about Christ's death. We go to a facility that most people are familiar with. The devotees will gather at the churches at 10pm to attend the midnight mass. The children will receive these baskets filled with Easter eggs and sweets from the Easter Bunny.

From there, some traditions celebrate Maundy Thursday (or Holy Thursday), a remembrance of the night Jesus was handed over to Roman guards in the Garden of Gethsemane and taken through the trials which ultimately led to his crucifixion.

'But Christ came into the world to free us from all these-and He did this by dying on the cross for our sins and then conquering death by His resurrection from the dead.

A majority of Americans believe Jesus was who he said he was, and that his message still matters.

Afterward, the Rev. Paul Jeanes at Trinity sought to explain the importance of Good Friday. During those final hours on the cross Jesus endured one of the most painful deaths imaginable - but finally His life was over, and everyone knew it.

The resurrection of Jesus Christ is a fact of history.
