Partnered streamers will earn 5 percent of sales that originate from their channel, while the game's creators will get 70 percent.

Twitch has announced that the ability to buy games directly through its platform, a new feature that was first revealed back in February, is now live. As mentioned in Gameranx's original report, every single game that's being livestreamed that is available for sale via Twitch will now include a button for purchasing the game below the stream.

Also announced with the service are Twitch Crates, which can be earned when you spend $4.99 United States dollars or more for a game or in-game item/s. The new feature will also be a win-win for streamers who will be able to generate revenue via the purchases done through their channel page.

Games purchased through Twitch can be launched through the new Twitch app, which is a reworked version of the old Curse client.

Now all sales are in US Dollars, thought Twitch plans to offer localised purchase experiences in the near future.

Twitch is also adding another carrot to entice buying its games: sweepstakes. The gaming site is offering Twitch Crate to users who make a purchase of $4.49 or more. Each month, roughly 100 million unique viewers gather on the site to watch streams and interact with broadcasters and other community members, making the platform tremendously influential in how customers discover and experience video games. But while the purchases will be made via Twitch, Amazon will fulfil the order or orders. The are approximately 50 games that you purchase online and some of the most famous titles are Ubisoft'sFor Honor andTom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands, The Walking Dead orMinecraft: Story Mode, Firewatch and Warframe.

Twitch will also pick a grand prize victor who will get $500 worth of streaming equipment. Bits are Twitch's own currency, which can be bought and shared with streamers over chat messages as a reward for their efforts. The streaming platform now lets you buy the game you were streaming already. The remaining 25 percent would go to Twitch.
