Deputies said videos in possession of one of Peterkin's relatives showed the woman placing a plastic bag over the infant's head and tying it. Police arrested her last Thursday.

Janelle Andrea Peterkin, who is facing charges of child endangerment, is free on a $15,000 bond. Deputies confirm that Peterkin admitted that she made the videos about 90 days ago to show her ex-boyfriend and father of her child he did not care enough about their baby.

The family said they began receiving messages from Peterkin on April 13. "They also saw video of the complainant in a auto seat and an adult hand was seen stuffing a plastic bag into the mouth of the complainant, who appeared to have difficulty breathing", a prosecutor said.

"When I saw the video, I had to ask the police if he was still alive", Ra'Neicha Broadnax, the baby's aunt said. Peterkin said she wants to tell her side of the story. "My brother loves his kids, he has three little babies".
