A DREAMer Has Reportedly Been Deported To Mexico

"Some people told me that they were going to deport me; others said nothing would happen", Montes told USA Today from western Mexico where he has been staying.

Montes was approached by a Customs and Border Patrol officer in Calexico, California, who would not allow him to retrieve his wallet from a friend's vehicle.

President Donald Trump in January said undocumented immigrants in the US protected under the DACA act "shouldn't be very anxious".

Montes was twice granted deportation protections under Obama's Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, according to USA TODAY.

According to the lawsuit, Montes was sent to Mexico on February 17 after being stopped by a law enforcement official and asked for identification while walking to a taxi stand in Calexico, California, about 120 miles (190 kilometers) east of San Diego.

After repeatedly saying that DREAMers - undocumented immigrants brought into the United States as children - "shouldn't be very worried" about being shipped out of the country, Donald Trump has officially deported one such immigrant, even though these undocumented immigrants still fall under the protections of former President Barack Obama's Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program. He'd been living in the United States since he was nine. Montes is believed to be the first DACA recipient to be deported. He was asked to sign documents without being given copies or an opportunity to see an immigration judge.

He's upset that the Pacers have to fight their way back from a 2-0 deficit against LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers. In Game 2, however, it was Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love that did the bulk of the damage to put the game out of reach.

Black Cats nine points from safety
Before the cheers of joy at the Stadium of Light , there were jeers at manager Moyes who was the subject of "Moyes out" chants. That is a huge gap to make up, particularly as Sunderland have still only won once since the middle of December.

President Donald Trump has not formally rescinded DACA, but in February he issued an executive order instructing the Department of Homeland Security to consider any person living in the US illegally as a potential target for deportation.

"Juan Manuel was funneled across the border without so much as a piece of paper to explain why or how", said Nora Preciado, one of the attorneys with NILC. He then worked two years picking crops in California and Arizona.

Homeland Security said Wednesday that the Border Patrol had no record of the initial encounter in Calexico and that Montes had left the United States on an unknown date.

Within hours, in the middle of the night, Montes was physically removed to Mexicali, Mexico, according to the lawsuit.

"We will be talking to the attorney general", Trump said.

The government has issued almost 800,000 DACA permits since President Barack Obama introduced the program in 2012 and almost 700,000 renewals.
