The Cavs have never lost a playoff series in which they led 2-0, going 12-0. If you include the two wins against IN in this series, James is 26-2 and has won 19 straight first-round games. LeBron James has had two impressive stat lines in particular; he averaging 28.5 points, 8.0 assists, and 10.0 rebounds per game, on 57.5% shooting. Irving has become a star in the National Basketball Association by acting as LeBron James' wing man and at times providing the needed firepower.

IN built a 25-point halftime lead, but by the end of the third quarter it was down to single digits.

After giving up 74 points in the first half, the Cavs got back in the game in the third quarter as James poured in 13 points along with four assists.

Paul George led IN with 32 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists.

George also called out second-year center Myles Turner, who finished with six points on just 3-for-10 shooting, five rebounds and three blocks last night.

A 3-pointer by ex-Cav C.J. Miles with 14.4 seconds to go cut the Cavs' lead to 117-114, but Deron Williams made two free throws at the other end for the Cavs. I was supposed to front him and get help side on the weak side behind me. "The King James", though, can't win the title by himself and his teammates will have to be at their sharpest in the play-offs as well if they are to give fans yet another reason for celebration. "We don't take it for granted".

The Cavaliers looked bored in the first half, like students with senioritis a month before graduation.

As much as we'll keep talking about flipping switches - and yes, the second-half defense was demonstrably better than the first 24 - maybe the first half was really a problem for Cleveland. "And he had that mindset, came in and executed, and it's hard to come off the bench right after halftime. I trust the guys on that floor, but I just thought - you know, I watched it kind of unravel - that's when I should have stepped in and demanded the ball a little bit more", he said. The final bet for this game 3 in Indianapolis is the Cleveland Cavaliers -2.5 over the Indiana Pacers on Thursday night.

"We don't get the respect that these guys deserve because Mike Conley doesn't go insane, he has class and he just plays the game", Fizdale said. Even when we're down big. But they were not able to get the lead down to single digits until the 4:21 mark left in the game. James has powered the Cavaliers through the first two wins, totaling 57 points, 20 assists and 16 rebounds. He is now third in all-time playoff assists, trailing only John Stockton and Magic Johnson.

LeBron James in the second quarter on April 20 passed Kobe Bryant for third place in the NBA's all-time playoff scoring list.
