"He's fantastic but we have keepers of highest quality". But we have highest-quality goalkeepers.

He said: "Simon is in a very good moment and hopefully it will stay like this". He deals with the situation really well also. What is clear is that Liverpool need a dependable centre back.

Liverpool continue to be linked with attacking players ahead of the summer transfer window. It is not that they create chance after chance after chance, we defend really well.

Liverpool have won their last two Premier League games against Palace, after going four without a victory against them (D1 L3).

Liverpool have several defensive problems for Sunday's home Premier League game against Crystal Palace, with defenders Joel Matip, Ragnar Klavan and Lucas Leiva unable to train this week owing to injuries.

"Muscle problems with Joe Matip, (a) little bit with Lucas Leiva".

"Crystal Palace are really strong with unbelievable skills in offensive lines".

Lucas, 30, has played an instrumental role under Jurgen Klopp this campaign, making 19 Premier League appearances with his versatility a key. It's not too cool. Joe Gomez did well on Monday, for the Under-23s, and made big steps in the last few weeks so maybe now we have to try this pair [Gomez and Lovren].

Henderson aside, Sadio Mané, Adam Lallana, and Danny Ings are just some of the current players sidelined with injuries.

With that in mind, Klopp is adamant he has no plans to make a move for Hart.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is unsure whether captain Jordan Henderson will be able to feature again this season.

"He should be involved - not sure exactly when - in a normal training week by Wednesday or Thursday, something like that".

'The main thing is we kept a clean sheet, so one goal was enough to get the win, ' he added.

"Still nothing new [on Henderson]".

"I don't know", he said.

"Of course, we are in intense talks with different departments but we have to wait". He is already not patient any more.

A hard-earned 1-0 win at West Bromwich Albion on Sunday lifted Liverpool to third place with five games left for the Reds.

Jurgen Klopp has insisted Liverpool can not use injuries as an excuse for not finishing in the top four this season and securing a Champions League place. Klopp said today when asked whether he was considering his goalkeeping options. "We have to find a line-up solution for the next game".

"Crystal Palace are extremely powerful with incredible abilities in offensive lines".
