LG is all set to bring G6 smartphone in India on Monday

And those who pre-order the device will be eligible for a cashback offer of up to Rs 7,000. With pre-booking for Galaxy S8 going on full swing, LG seems to be happy to reveal the pricing and offer details much before the launch. The cashback offers will only be valid till May 1.

We'll have to wait and watch until April 24 to see the official pricing of the handset and the offers that the company comes up with.

In any case, if we consider this report to be true, LG might be aiming to take on Samsung by putting the G6 on sale from April 29, ahead of the Galaxy S8's May 5 availability.

LG is now offering a cashback up to Rs 7,000 as a part of the pre-booking offer along with a 50 percent discount deal on the LG Tone Active+ HBS-A100 wireless headset. LG is additionally vending its HBS-A100 Tone Active+ wireless headset at a 50% discount for users up until May 31.

However, the price of the LG G6 has not been announced in India and is expected to be around Rs 53,000 and Rs 54,000. This device also supports Dolby Vision and HDR 10 for enhanced viewing experience.

To recall, the LG G6 sports a 5.7-inch Quad HD+ display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. It comes with QuadHD+ (2880×1440 pixels) OLED panel and has an insane 18:9 aspect ratio protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The phone is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 821 chipset with 4GB of RAM.

There is also a MicroSD card slot for storage expansion upto 2TB.

In terms of optics, the new LG flagship smartphone comes with a dual-camera setup at rear end with two 13-megapixel sensors - one for wide-angle shots with 125-degree lens and f/2.4 aperture, and the other for regular shots with 71-degree lens and OIS 2.0. It has a 5MP front camera with f/2.2 aperture and 100-degree wide angle lens. Connectivity features include Wi-Fi 802.11 ac dual-band, Bluetooth 4.2 Low Energy, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, NFC, USB Type-C, and 4G VoLTE. It is available in three different color variants- Ice Platinum, Mystic White and Astro black.
