On the road. In the National Basketball Association playoffs. The Cavs were settling for 3s and weren't penetrating with the same vigor we've come to expect from guys like Kyrie Irving and James.

But not for LeBron James, who added another chapter to his legend Thursday night, contributing 41 points, 13 rebounds and 12 assists, helping the reigning National Basketball Association champion Cleveland Cavaliers rally from a 26-point deficit to stun the Indiana Pacers 119-114 in Game 3 of their opening-round Eastern Conference playoff series. With the victory, James and the Cavs claimed a dominating 3-0 series lead in the first round of the 2017 NBA Playoffs.

"I feel like I should have been at Coachella", James said after the Cavs 117-111 win over the Pacers.

"They're playing through all our punches, and we're throwing haymakers, and they're weaving", Stephenson said. I like McMillan more than most, but I can't defend him tonight.

LeBron James celebrated another milestone with the greatest second-half comeback in playoff history.

George has played at an All-NBA level in the first two games of the series, averaging 30 points, six rebounds, and seven assists per game on 48% shooting, 55% from three.

To start the game, the Cavaliers raised serious questions about their defense and overall cohesiveness, giving up back-to-back 37-point quarters in the first half.

Irving closed the period by draining a 3-pointer over Stephenson and the All-Star made sure Indiana's antagonizing guard knew about it, yapping in his direction long after the horn sounded.

Welcome back my Cleveland Cavaliers vs Indiana Pacers fans.

At the 41-second mark, head coach Tyronn Lue had changed up the lineup by inserting Channing Frye and Kyle Korver for Tristan Thompson and J.R. Smith. LeBron James was a major part of the effort in the third as well, picking up 13 points in that quarter alone. His career playoff averages coming into Monday stood at 28.0 points, 8.8 rebounds, 6.8 assists, 1.8 steals and 0.9 blocks per game. I thought they, again, had stretches where they were just walking into 3-pointers.

A loss like this can linger mentally on a fragile team like the Pacers, especially after it was James who ended up putting his foot on their throat. But not so much the (isolation) because we have good players who can do that.

In the third quarter, Cleveland took advantage of a mismatch underneath and pounded the ball inside to Love, who scored 10 points in a row and drew a charging foul on Lance Stephenson in a span of two minutes as the Cavaliers opened an 89-70 lead. IN shot 56.8 percent during the opening half, including 10 of 17 from 3-point range.

The Pacers were led by 32 points from Paul George.

The Pacers led by 10 after one quarter, then increased their lead to 50-36 with 5:54 remaining in the second quarter.

In the first half, the Cavs trapped the Pacers off pick-and-roll. Surrounded by shooters, James had room to operate, knifing into the lane to get to the rim, blowing by any Pacer that stood in his way.

However, Cleveland came out firing in the third quarter, outscoring the Pacers 35-17 to get the score to 91-84. "I try to look up and see the play after it happens because then I try to get the crowd involved and get a reaction". Now we're getting a first-hand look at the finished products of that building, as he continues to pass all-time great after all-time great in several categories.
