The company has also upped the security feature with an iris scanner, face recognition and fingerprint scanner - moved to the back of the device - to unlock the device.

The S8 will have a 5.8 inch display with no physical phone button, rather an invisible home button, while the S8 Plus will have a 6.2-inch screen. The Galaxy S8+ is simply a larger Galaxy S8 with a bigger battery. Samsung is relying so much on its personal assistant that it has given a dedicated button on the side. One user told the newspaper: "After I read articles that there are many reddish panels, I checked mine".

Samsung's display is already considered as the top rated display across the world, and the company adheres to this even in the Galaxy S8 and S8+.

As for hardware, both the handsets feature Samsung's in-house Exynos 8895 SoC's in India as opposed to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC on some global versions.

The Galaxy S8 and S8+ became available for preorder on April 7th, which means the phones took just 10 days to reach the milestone. Both the devices will ship starting 5th May 2017.

Samsung now gives you the option to change the screen resolution on your phone so you can save battery by not using the full power of the WQHD screen at all times.

Obviously, we also heard rumors about the Galaxy S8 featuring a dual-camera system, but it didn't feature it.

The dual-camera setup, according to Kuo, will be the "most important upgrade" in the Galaxy Note 8. The 12 MP rear camera lens remains the same as in the previous Galaxy S7, but Samsung has said that the camera software has been improved.

Those who preorder the device will get a free wireless charger that supports fast charging.

Ten years later, the stakes are high for the debut of iPhone's latest model. The smartphone comes bundled with AKG headphones.
