Court grants IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu bail

He will not be seen in a gathering of more than 10 people.

The bail is the first since the commencement of his trial for alleged treason.

According to the order, Mr. Kanu is to produce three sureties with N100 million each.

Kanu was ordered to surrender his Nigerian and British global passports, even as the court compelled FG to return to him, his wedding ring and reading glasses.

The trial judge, Justice Binta Nyako, granted bail to the defendant to enable him attend to his health challenge.

Recall also that Kanu had on February a year ago, opposed the application by the federal government to conduct his trial in secret.
