Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) sums up the dire situation facing her kingdom in a chilling voiceover. What show have you been watching for the past six years, buddy?

From the North, the newly crowned King of North, Jon Snow of Winterfell.

Fans of HBO's tentpole fantasy series "Game of Thrones" have been waiting with something less than patience for their first look at the delayed, penultimate season of the beloved show.

Who Will Kill Cersei on Game of Thrones? . Yes, there will be an epic battle for the Iron Throne. After a false start whipped "Game of Thrones" fans into hysterics, HBO successfully posted the long-anticipated official Season 7 trailer. Considering the circumstances, we can guess that he stands in opposition to Cersei, but we're not sure how he'll feel about the arrival of Daenerys.

"We're the last Lannisters", she says. Meanwhile, Daenerys appears to have set up shop in Dragonstone, the ancestral home of her family. But surprisingly, he has a very small presence in the trailer, while the White Walkers, the biggest threat and main focus of the Season 7 are missing from the trailer.

"Your father and brothers are gone, yet here you stand, last best hope against the coming storm", says Lord Petyr Baelish (Aidan Gillen), Sansa's mentor and a Machiavellian manipulator of her. Jon assures us that a great war is coming. And, as Jon Snow (Kit Harington) promises in the extended clip, the climactic war for the Iron Throne we've been building towards all these seasons has begun.

The most chilling line of the trailer may be Sir Davos' warning of encroaching doom: "If we don't put aside our enmities and bound together, we will die".
