Latest leak gives most detailed look yet at iPhone 8

The 10th anniversary iPhone 8 is arguably the most anticipated iPhone ever. In recent weeks, we have seen dummy videos and design molds popping up online. However, are you looking forward to the iPhone 8?

Newly leaked images are fueling speculation that Apple may be on course to bring its Touch ID fingerprint scanning system into the display of the next iPhone. He claims to have factory worker sources with knowledge of Apple's designs.

Meanwhile, another leak showed the iPhone 8 case vis-a-vis the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus to compare the difference.

KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo had predicted previous year that the iPhone 8's form factor would be similar to the iPhone 7 despite packing a bigger display.

You can see the iPhone 8 looks slightly bigger than the iPhone 7 in every respect - it's taller, wider, and thicker.

According to the report, the iPhone 8 will also be thicker than the iPhone 7 Plus, which measures 158.2 x 77.9 x 7.3 mm, though it will have a smaller overall footprint.

The device is rumored to come with an edge-to-edge display, which entails that since it will have nearly no bezels and a larger display, iPhone 8 will have more usable surface screen area than the iPhone 7. For the sake of comparison, the image below shows the new iPhone 8 put up against the Samsung Galaxy S8 and the S8 Plus. To recall, the Galaxy S8 measures 148.9x68.1x8.0 mm, while the Galaxy S8+ comes in at 159.5x73.4x8.1 mm.

LG also believes that Chinese OEMs will follow Apple's footsteps to integrate OLED displays, so if it doesn't bag an order from Apple, it does have other options to partake from.
