OnePlus has confirmed that they are working on the phone, and that the phone will be numbered "5".

OnePlus is once again outsourcing some of its decisions to the fans. The company is also now in the process of discontinuing the OnePlus 3T that was on the market for approximately half a year, which is a continuation of its aggressive product strategy based on thin profit margins and smartphones that offer high value for money.

Nearly all images shared by Carl Pei represent scenarios with a lot of complex subjects, a huge contrast between the brightest and darkest areas and hard lighting.

OnePlus's official twitter account has also joined in one the fun. The company has its roots in China, where the number "4" carries negative meanings, so it is skipping the OnePlus 4 and goes right to OnePlus 5 after the OnePlus 3 and 3T. However, the camera department is something OnePlus has always impressed us with.

The Chinese original equipment manufacturer (OEM) already confirmed that its next flagship will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 system-on-chip (SoC) and previous rumors suggest that the OnePlus 5 may feature as much as 8GB of RAM. The device will pack 5.5-inch display with FHD (1080P) or QHD (1440P) resolution.

The leaked poster comes in the classic red and white colors that signify the OnePlus brand.

The handset is also rumored to come with 6GB of RAM and 64GB and 128GB of storage, it will also come with a 3600 mAh battery and dual rear cameras.
