Apple on Monday launched a bunch of refinements in its all four platforms - tvOS, watchOS, macOS and iOS - at this years annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) with iOS 11, watchOS 4 and updates to its Mac line of desktops and notebooks. It will allow users to automatically block auto-play videos by detecting videos that shouldn't be playing when you open a webpage to read an article, for example.

Apple said that it is the fastest browser ever with features like autoplay blocking, intelligent tracking prevention that uses machine learning to block irritating content.

A new desktop and laptop operating system was also announced. The new 10.5-inch model offers room for a full-size keyboard, something the 9.7 inch model couldn't.

The new iPad Pro is priced $649 and is set to ship from next week itself.

The iPad Pro also features the same front- and back-facing cameras as iPhone 7, including a 12-megapixel camera with optical image stabilization, along with a 7-megapixel FaceTime HD camera. It's also what Microsoft is targeting with the Surface Pro; a new model comes out on June 15. It clearly costs more than the other brands but Apple is confident that the product and its state-of-the-art features will justify its price.

It also enhanced its workout app to, for instance, support high intensity interval training.

In contrast, tvOS received practically no love at all except for the fact that Amazon Prime subscribers will finally be able to watch their shows and movies on Apple's platform. It will also be possible to exchange data between gym equipment and the watch.
