Cavs not looking to slow down pace of Finals with Warriors

Things turned out OK for the Cavs in 2016.

When the Warriors added Durant, JaVale McGee, Zaza Pachulia and David West to a roster that blew a 3-1 Finals lead to James and fell short of a repeat previous year, many wondered if they would have enough in the middle to defend the rim. "I just relaxed tonight, and took good shots in rhythm". "But you know it's definitely possible".

If Games 1 and 2 are any indication, everybody who takes the court for the Warriors in Game 3 of these Finals will bring the appropriate level of concentration. "They're sustaining their efforts for longer periods of time", Jefferson said. And that, he decided, was the problem heading into Game 2 of the NBA Finals: He was thinking too much.

Curry and Kevin Durant tag-teamed the Warriors within two victories of another championship.

And the Warriors point to Game 3 as the initial turning point.

Durant and Green have set the tone all season on the defensive end, establishing an intensity and toughness - and the rest of the Warriors had no choice but to do more during Durant's 19-game absence this spring with a knee injury.

The Texas ex was always great in Oklahoma City, but many of us remember many Thunder games when he would camp out in the corner with his hands on his knees away from the play.

"I don't think it ends the argument".

Apple hasn't provided any updated figures in this regard, but there's a good chance the new Pencil gets very close to that figure. The faster refresh rate also means that "inking" with the Apple Pencil is even faster and smoother with these new iPad Pros .

There's Something Out There in the New Trailer for The Mist
While a lot of the previous trailers have focused on the supernatural element this one appears to focus more on the human element. And considering that King's source material is littered with odd , deeply complex characters, that can only be good news.

Qatar has also been criticised for supporting Islamist rebels in Syria, and in 2013, the Afghan Taliban opened a Doha office. Central Command, it is seen as crucial in the U.S. -led campaign against the Islamic State group.

"We have a huge hurdle to get over tomorrow (Game 3)", Curry said.

Despite the Cavs being down 2-0 to Golden State after being roughed up in the first two games of the series, Lue said he's sticking with his starters, including guard J.R. Smith, who has scored just 3 points so far. He has only three points in 42 minutes in the first two games.

Then again, Smith was scuffling through the first two games of last season's Finals and came back with 20 points in Game 3. "I feel like I can make any and every shot". "But I don't expect anybody on the outside who really doesn't know the game to look at me as a defender because once you're labeled something that's what you're going to be". They are two games away from being the first team in National Basketball Association history to achieve perfection at the highest level of competition.

Durant blocked five shots to go with 33 points, 13 rebounds and six assists after going off for 38 points and eight assists in Thursday's Game 1. The same Barnes who had 60 points in the entire seven-game series a year ago.

James and company face a daunting task, trying to best a Warriors team that's playing its best ball of the season.

"It's something I am accustomed to", James said. I can get my guys ready, get myself ready. "But you hate to continue to put yourself in these positions". "Especially when we're 14-0". No team had ever won more than 11 consecutive playoff games before this postseason. "That's more than enough points to win most basketball games, unless you allow them to shoot 50 percent".

For what it's worth, no team has ever recovered from a 3-0 deficit in the National Basketball Association playoffs. The Warriors are two wins from sweeping all four rounds, including the last one, against the defending champs. A lot of people said we couldn't, but that's our game. When we get stops, we want to get out and run. Are we 14-0 right now? "We want to play with pace and we want to attack early". We literally have never once mentioned 16-0. To me it's a miracle that it's even a possibility. It's so hard to do.

"We're most focused on what happened past year in terms of being up 2-0 and we came here (to Cleveland) and the series shifted. That's the important lesson not any historical benchmarks".
