Square Enix made no mystery that the game would eventually launch on home consoles, and it seems like we will be getting an announcement at this year's E3. The game now features 22 heroes and villains from across series history, from the Warrior of Light to Y'shtola of Final Fantasy XIV fame.

Square Enix is bringing Dissidia Final Fantasy NT to the PlayStation 4 according to a recent Amazon listing. This Final Fantasy spin-off is a fighting game that puts heroes and villains of all 15 mainline games to fight each other individually or in teams of up to three members. An official release date has not yet been announced, though right now they are currently targeting an early 2018 release on PlayStation 4. Based on the arcade version launched in 2015, this new release for PS4 will include a bigger roster of fighters, which will include Noctis from Final Fantasy XV for the first time.

Dissidia Final Fantasy is available on arcade in Japan. The game is being co-developed by Square Enix and Team Ninja, with the latter being most recently responsible for the fantastic Nioh.
