What did you think of the Shadow of the Colossus trailer? This game has a lot more stabbing and strangling than real life Bend. The combat uses Spidey Sense to dodge incoming attacks, really, it looks like it has taken inspiration from Batman Arkham Knight and Arkham Asylum, but really it's a system I remember seeing in The Amazing Spider-Man game. And just like previous year, viewers will be visually bombarded with new trailers for already announced titles, debut footage of brand new IP's/sequels and huge announcements about the current line of PlayStation consoles.

Starring the world's most iconic Super Hero, Spider-Man PS4 (working title) features the acrobatic abilities, improvisation and web-slinging that the wall-crawler is famous for, while also introducing elements never-before-seen in a Spider-Man game. After all, Insomniac and Marvel made a huge splash in the gaming community a year ago, when they premiered the first official reveal trailer for Spider-Man PS4, with better graphics and gameplay mechanics than any of the previous Spider-Man games had ever offered. Not content with wowing the crowd, the game has been confirmed for 2018.

Shadow of the Colossus Remastered One of the biggest surprises of the Sony conference was the reveal of a remastered version of Shadow of the Colossus for the PlayStation 4.

The setting, however, was not one of the issues with the PlayStation showcase, with the Shrine theatre in Los Angeles serving as a stunning backdrop.

◆ Housemarque shooter Matterfall will be out on PlayStation 4 on August 15.

Unlike the upcoming Spider-Man Homecoming movie, this webslinger tale follows Miles Morales rather than Peter Parker.

You know what? Microsoft actually put on a decent press conference yesterday. Nor price was announced at Sony's E3 press briefing.

Our only disappointment was nothing new about Hideo's upcoming title, Death Stranding, but hey, you can't have everything, right?

Like numerous games shown off at Sony's press conference, players can expect to get their hands on Insomniac's Spider-Man sometime in 2018. God of War will be a PS4 exclusive and will launch in early 2018.
