Apple iOS 11 features make iPads more productive business tools

Apple AirPlay 2 is the new, updated version of the company's multi-room audio listening system, following on from the popular original version.

Users have the option of sending an auto reply to contacts listed in "Favorites" to let them know they are driving and cannot respond while the vehicle is moving.

For iPhone 5S and above owners, you will still get to benefit from the iOS 11 software update, which should roll out from Autumn this year. In addition, you can now swipe down in the control center to view new notifications and double swipe to view all notifications. For creative work and digital note-taking, you'll notice even less latency than before, which is saying something. The big rub here is that the blocks for distracting apps and calls can be removed to allow passengers to use the phone fully while driving. Apple also reduced the stylus' latency to 20 milliseconds, just beating out the Microsoft Surface Pen at 21 milliseconds. The only downside is the lack of iOS 11, scheduled for next autumn in its final version, and that should make all the difference once installed!

As with mobile operating systems, Microsoft's Windows 10 can display app alerts on your screen, even when you do not have those programs open.

Apple is rolling out a new "Files" app, which lets users browse, search and organize their files.

Apple has finally revamped the App Store this year with iOS 11. Therefore, the second way to access the app dock is by double-pressing the home button, which instantly takes you to the recent apps screen. There are also sections for Games and Apps as well, making it easier to find content. Reviews and ratings are also laid out more clearly. What's great about it is that it lets you sort files from your other iOS devices, in iCloud Drive, Box, Google Drive and other services.
