It's been nine years since Ubisoft first announced a sequel to its 2003 cult hit Beyond Good And Evil.

In this Action-Adventure you can play alone or with friends, everyone will take part in the intense action and drama found throughout System 3's planets, moons and space.

Speaking to Gameslice TV, Ubisoft's CEO Yves Guillemot suggests BG&E 2's E3 outing was tied to the game's so-called "Space Monkey Program"-a community-driven initiative that encourages prospective players to help shape the game's development".

Nearly a decade and a half after the original game came out in 2003, Ubisoft has confirmed that it is working on Beyond Good and Evil 2, unveiling the first official trailer at E3 2017. He described the trailer's getaway scene as being inspired by something you might actually do in the game: riding on a vehicle with another player and blowing stuff up.

That came after years of on-and-off development, teasers, and rampant speculation and it looks like the game has been reworked from scratch at least once over the years.

Almost 15 years after the original title, an emotional Michel Ancel announced the sequel to this GameCube cult classic.

15 years after the release of the Beyond Good and Evil, Beyond Good and Evil 2 has been revealed in a cinematic trailer. They brought it back with a gritty, fun, character-filled trailer.

Yet, the voice performances in Beyond Good and Evil 2 seem, from what we've been shown, utterly delightful in all the best ways.

There was no release window or official platform rundown during the show, but you can be sure that's coming at a later date. It doesn't appear to be a strictly single player focused game unlike the original.

At a Ubisoft dinner in 2011, Ancel did say that Beyond Good & Evil 2 was being produced for the next generation of consoles.

The announcement of Beyond Good & Evil 2 at the Ubisoft conference was received with great joy by fans, although for the moment the information at our disposal are still very small. However, we may know more tonight, during the Spotlight event that Nintendo has in the stores for E3 2017.
