Liverpool plot second attempt to sign teenage sensation, PL rivals in pursuit

As reported by ESPN FC, Aston Villa is one of the contenders for the transfer of promising your defender Josh Tymon, who now plays for Hull. However, it looks like the Reds are set to join the trio in the pursuit of the left-back.

Hull were relegated from the Premier League, despite new Watford head coach Marco Silva's best efforts after taking over in January, and are facing a battle to keep home of Tymon, according to ESPN.

Hull fans face a massive blow as Daily Telegraph journalist John Percy took to Twitter this morning to confirm Stoke have made an approach for promising youngster Josh Tymon. Hull's relegation could be a blessing in disguise for Tymon, who needs to earn first-team experience.

Tymon has played for England's Under-17 and 18 teams and was involved in the Young Lions team that won the Toulon International Tournament in France recently.

However, Jurgen Klopp could get more joy if he were to move for Tymon, with ESPN reporting that the 18-year-old is emerging as possible target for Klopp as he bids to fill his problematic left-back role.

Liverpool are also looking at the youngster as a possible long-term solution to their left back problem.

For now, though, Tymon remains a highly sought-after quantity and it wouldn't be a surprise if other clubs join the race in the days to come.
